At Ben Franklin´s English Academy we have develop the Communicative English Development System, it makes students interact with a variety of traditions and conducts, to recreate English-speaking environments.

Allow people to full interact in an English-speaking environment.

First Level Objectives (Beginners):

  • How to allocate students?

From Beginner to Elementary to pre intermediate:

  1. Beginner: ¨I do not speak any English.¨
  2. Elementary: ¨ I can say and understand a few things in English.¨
  3. Pre – Intermediate: ¨I can communicate simply and understand in familiar situations but only with some difficulty.¨
  4. From the First to the 4th month, the objective will be to create a solid grammar foundation for students to understand Basic English, as well as exposed students to pronunciation and enunciation.
  5. From the 4th Month to the 6th month, objective is to reach an effective communicative development, allowing student to understand and reply to basic interactions.

Second Level Objectives (Intermediate):

  • How to allocate students?

From Low Intermediate to Intermediate to Upper Intermediate:

  1. Low Intermediate: ¨I can make simple sentences and can understand the main points of a conversation but need much more vocabulary.¨
  2. Intermediate: ¨I can speak and understand reasonably well and can use basic tenses but have problems with more complex grammar and vocabulary.¨
  3. Upper Intermediate: ¨I can communicate without much difficulty but still make quite a lot of mistakes and misunderstand sometimes.¨
  4. From the First to the 4th month, the objective will be to stablish a well structure reading and comprehension process to enhance vocabulary and grammar structuring as well as creating a routine based on interaction and debates, to encourage an oral participation of the student.
  5. From the 4th Month to the 6th month, objective is to enhance the communicative development by confronting student to more complex speaking and interactive activities.

Third Level Objectives (Advance):

  • How to allocate students?

From Pre-advanced, to Advance to Very Advanced:      

  1. Pre-advanced: I speak and understand well but still make mistakes and fail to make myself understood occasionally.
  2. Advanced: I speak and understand very well but sometimes have problems with unfamiliar situations and vocabulary.
  3. Very Advanced: I speak and understand English completely fluently.
  4. From the First to the 4th month, the objective will be to stablish a well structure expression management and pronunciation refinement by a more advance English interaction.
  5. From the 4th Month to the 6th month, objective is to simulate a call center interaction, by applying customer services skills and sales skills in a full English contact center environment.
